Pasola is the name of a war game tournament played by two groups of selected Sumbanese. The Men riding their selected and decorated horses while fling spears to each others. The government allows the game take place but the spears must be blunted. Pasola is a traditional ceremony of Sumbanese held in the way uniquely and sympathy of traditional norms every year on February and March and has been the focus of the attention of the local people since is a part sacred homage to the Merapu.
